Our project provides learning opportunities for the indigenous people of Guatemala, especially their women many of whom have been denied access to formal education. Our teaching staff is respectful of their Mayan languages, beliefs, and culture. As Guatemala enters the Globalization marketplace, its workers need to be able to communicate in English. International companies coming to Guatemala seek and hire English speaking employees. Our project believes in the hard working people of our country. The school plays an important role in the lives of its students. We are not only forming good student skills, but also good, employable citizens for Guatemala. The program provides daily training in English language development.  The students have lessons in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. These activities enhance the students’ vocabulary and speaking skills.
